Bridging academics and enrichment in partnership with the Newtown Community Center. The program will be held on a weekly basis for the month of July (concurrent with summer school dates). After your child receives their academic instruction (summer academic support) at Reed Intermediate School, they will be transported over to the Newtown Community Center.
At the Community Center, children will enjoy a camp-like day of art activities, swimming, sports, and outdoor play! This program allows students the opportunity to receive their summer academic support, while also attending a camp-like experience that they may otherwise not have the opportunity to attend, and allows parents more flexibility in their schedule.
The program runs through 4pm daily, 4 days a week during the summer academic enrichment days. A Friday add-on is available for full-day care by calling the Newtown Community Center. A 4-6pm, super extended day option is also available for the 4 days at checkout.
*Please note, there is a $15 cancellation fee for cancellations with at least 2 weeks' notice, per week cancelled. There are no refunds and or credits for sick days and or unattended days.
