Nutrition Education & Cook-Along Class
Alzheimer's and dementia are at epidemic proportions and yet a decline in brain health is not an inevitable part of aging! How we eat and live can help us protect our memory and stay sharp into old age. In this class, you’ll learn about the foods that support optimal brain health for the prevention of these conditions and enjoy cooking along at home to make simple recipes made from a selection of brain power foods. You’ll receive resources and a shopping list and learn with a trained chef how easy it is to make affordable, delicious meals that will support a healthy brain! Together, we’ll make: Steamed Sweet Potatoes & Greens with Curry Sauce, Easy Pasta Salad, and Light and Creamy Chocolate Pudding. The menu is gluten-free (with GF pasta choice), egg-free, dairy-free, oil-free, nut-free. No discounts apply.
