For students who have previously taken the course and did not complete it successfully. Students must have a grade of 55 or higher and an attendance record of 75% to enroll. Not all students will be eligible to attend. Credit will only be given to students who previously failed the course during the school year. 

Things to consider:


  • Students must commit to the full program hours, otherwise credit is not issued..

  • If asked to leave the program by Newtown Continuing Education due to disciplinary reasons, course credit will not be issued and tuition is forfeited.

  • Because a commitment is needed to run the course, cancellation without 2-weeks’ notice is not refunded. Refunds cannot be issued for situations out of our control. 

  • A cancellation fee with 2 weeks’ notice is assessed.

  • Absences will not be permitted. One absence is a loss of credit. Two tardies is equal to one absence.

  • A tardy longer than 20-minutes is equal to an absence. It is encouraged to still attend the class in this instance.
