The USS Intrepid, a National Historic Landmark, is an important part of America’s history. Experience science, history, & service at the Intrepid Museum. Explore the 900 foot aircraft carrier - USS INTREPID. This Aircraft Carrier fought in WWII, served in the Cold War and the Vietnam War. View aircraft from WWII to present day. See the Space Shuttle Enterprise -The USS Intrepid is one of four institutions to receive a Space Shuttle! Climb aboard the Submarine Growler - the only American guided missile submarine open to the public. Enjoy a bite to eat on own at the Intrepid - there are 2 cafes on site. A Friendship Tours Tour Director will join your group to help navigate this day.
