Students will be required to meet in-person (after school) during the school year, virtually throughout the summer and to present their Capstone project.  Mrs. Violette will go over all dates, she will provide a schedule and will provide all necessary information to those invited to participate. 

*Please do not enroll for this course unless you have received an inviation to enroll and if you are able to commit to the required dates/times of the course* (A $50 cancellation fee will be applied should you need to be refunded in the event of an inelgible enrollment).This course is only available to Newtown High School students. 

The Summer Capstone course is for students who have been invited to participate.  There is an approval, enrollment and presentation component to this course. Students who have been invited to enroll for this program have submitted a proposal to Ms. Violette ahead of receiving the invitation and will be required to attend mandatory sessions.   Upon attendance of all required dates (previously discussed with Ms. Violette) student will receive (1) one Capstone credit towards their graduation requirement.
